progress?

accomplished quite a number of things this weekend yeay

• my room 80% done, Saturday Kak Ina and Auntie coming to do the deco. went to Ikea on Saturday to buy pic frames, flower petals and flower vase
• got my bench chair after 2 days of searching, finally bought it at Jalan Klang Lama
• went to Nilai 3 supposedly to collect my bunga pahar, turn out, tak siap lagi cos the flowers were in the wrong color. funny cos i called weeks before to confirm the collection date, and the guy who picked up the phone confirmed dah siap, so have to come again next week blerghhh. FYI, ordered my bunga pahar at this shop called Bagus Setempat, the sales girl named Rini very helpful and nice.
• got my mirror and runner to put in room, penat gila keluar masuk kedai cari the right size color and most importantly price!!
• found the ZC shop yg bridezillas talked about, the place is big, byk choice and sejuk!! nasib baik most of my stuff are done kalau tak mesti rambang mata! but i ended up beli some artificial flowers to put in my vase. at first wanted to put fresh flowers but.. mama kata beli artifical sudah, ok!
• finished tampal-ing flowers to my kotak telur, now tunggu TQ tag hopefully sampai tomorrow!
• my VIP card still a drama, boleh tak Dewan Merak Kayangan became Dewan Merak Kesayangan?

1. first things first, baju!! need to call Jarumas to check dah ok ke belum cos I asked them to tambah beadings sket. Reception baju tunggu Kimie call for 2nd fitting, after diorg finish the beading, hopefully this week. I hope I like how it will turn out next, cos I hated it masa first fitting, uhuk!
2. collect chocs kat Shah Alam for bunga pahar
3. collect bunga pahar - next Tuesday
4. collect my mini cakes
   
5. collect my nikah favors coming Saturday (the only Saturday left pun, duhh)

• hiv test - done! did it at klinik kesihatan seri kembangan. wanted to do at putrajaya but they only do it on Fridays, by appointment, and next available date is 6th Nov. i got a list of clinic contact numbers around Selangor, will post in separate entry


• wedding card - still finalizing design!


• hantaran - ordered mini cakes; chocs waiting for emmy; rehal to get end of this month; its 9-11 now, so i need 1 additional item for bunny. where can i get halwa maskat?


• dulang hantaran - for him, passed to auntie; for her next week to get from mama's cousin; need to ask kak nani about lapik dulang!


• hantaran deco - need to inform kak nani about the additional dulang, and get sample

things boggling my mind

i've decided to make this blog public. a disclaimer beforehand, no intention of riak or showing off whatsoever, this is just so that i can share opinions, ideas, suggestions and the likes from fellow bridezillas bloggers. just noticed the ticker, its exactly 2 months to go before the big day! tomorrow the 'telur pecah' to 1 month phewwwww.. progress a bit slow, but here's some things on my mind.. update from my to do list in previous post..

• nikah favors - bought yassin n bag, getting quotes from vendors for dates
• wedding favors - got sample from kak ani, need to decide how deco a bit
• nikah outfit - paid and went for fitting, to go for another round end of the month. i think it looks plain despite it being a full beaded kain *risau* and the white color definitely makes me look dark uhuk..
• reception outfit - need to go for measurement, most likely today
• hiv test - today, insya Allah!
• nikah shoes - bought! so cheap one..
• wedding card - finalizing details and design, need to get english version.. hmm where?
• hantaran almost complete, bought toiletries for me. only cake n chocs left, also waiting for rehal.
• dulang hantaran - kayu ones sent to auntie (1 still with kak nani), d silver ones to get from mama's cousin
• hantaran deco - need to follow up with kak nani bila siap
• bilik pengantin - bought bedsheet. kemas2 only 10% done looonngggg way to go..
